What This Role Is All About

Likewize is searching for a Device Repair Technician to join us at our distribution center in Vaughan Ontario. This position represents an existing vacancy within our organization.

This is a unique hybrid role that combines warehouse-based operations with mobile device repair services. Working from our distribution center and our company-operated repair vans youll play an important part in delivering outstanding service and high-quality device repairs to our customers.

No two days are the same. Some days youll be supporting repair inventory and operational activities within our warehouse environment. Other days youll be on the road in a fully equipped Likewize mobile repair van meeting customers at their homes or workplaces and completing repairs on-site.

Your Key Areas of Focus

• Troubleshoot diagnose and repair customer devices while maintaining the highest standards of quality accuracy and customer satisfaction.

• Manage the complete repair process from intake through final quality inspection ensuring all work is properly documented within company systems.

• Own the full repair journey from inbound and outbound quality control to all required system administration before heading to the next appointment.

• Support daily operations within the Vaughan distribution center including inventory management parts handling device processing receiving and staging equipment for repair and field service activities.

• Travel to customer locations in a company-provided mobile repair van to perform on-site repairs and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• Coordinate daily schedules repair bookings and parts inventory to ensure efficient service delivery and productivity.

• Maintain a clean organized and professional work environment whether operating within the warehouse repair workspace or mobile service vehicle.

• Monitor your performance against KPIs and service standards always aligning with company values and looking for ways to improve.

• Support business growth by engaging locally whether through retail partnerships visible presence social activity or customer referrals.

• Handle inventory repair parts returns and salvage materials responsibly while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

What Were Looking For

• A solid foundational understanding of how electronics work with the curiosity to keep learning.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with a customer-first mindset. You deliver friendly professional service to every person you meet.

• The ability to thrive both independently in the field and collaboratively as part of a broader team.

• Strong problem-solving skills paired with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Strong skills in organization time management and attention to detail to help you manage your repair workload.

• A valid G/A Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record so youre comfortable behind the wheel of our mobile service vans.

Extra Skills Wed Love to See

• Previous experience with component-level troubleshooting and mobile device repair. Youll be ready to get in and get going!

• Strong technical knowledge of both Android and iOS devices.

• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office (Teams Outlook and Word are favorites of ours!)

Your Compensation

We are offering an hourly rate of $25 CAD per hour for this position.

Where We Work

In this role youll have the unique opportunity to work both in our Vaughan distribution center and our fully branded Likewize vans.

Our Vaughan distribution center is located in the outskirts of Toronto just north of Highway 407 and west of Highway 400. We take pride in the onsite amenities we provide for our distribution center team including a climate-controlled work environment a beverage station with coffee tea and filtered ice & water and a vending machine with a variety of snacks for employees.

In the vans youll find a spacious and comfortable driving area designed to make getting from job to job easy and enjoyable. Step into the back and youll discover a cleverly designed Mobile Repair Workshop. Its fully kitted out with all the tools parts and equipment needed to get the job done right with everything organized and ready to go.
