What if your next leadership challenge was about enabling teams to build the technologies that redefine how people find information As a Development Manager youll play a key role in Coveos newly organized Product Engineering structure helping our Explore organization deliver the next generation of AI-powered search and recommendation capabilities.

Youll lead teams solving challenging problems in AI search and user experience while delivering products that have a direct measurable impact on how people find information and get things done.

As one of our Development Managers you will:

• Lead two or more software development teams working on strategic initiatives within our Explore organization.
• Adapt your leadership style to the maturity autonomy and needs of each team while fostering ownership and accountability.
• Partner closely with Product Management Applied Science and Engineering leaders to deliver impactful AI-powered capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions design reviews and code reviews when appropriate.
• Coach and develop engineers supporting their career growth while building a healthy and high-performing engineering culture.
• Help shape the evolution of our R&D organization by contributing to cross-team collaboration planning and continuous improvement.

Here is what will qualify you for the role:

• Previous experience as a Development Manager leading two or more distinct software development teams.
• Strong software engineering background with the ability to understand review and discuss production code.
• Experience building Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
• Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and adapt your leadership approach to teams with different levels of maturity.

• Experience leading teams working on machine learning or artificial intelligence products.
• Experience collaborating with Applied Scientists or research-oriented engineering teams.
• Experience leading organizations through periods of growth or organizational transformation.
