Dental Assembler
Job Summary
Position Summary
The Dental Assembler will be responsible for assembling dental products and components while ensuring accuracy quality and compliance with company standards. This is a trainable position suitable for candidates with a high school diploma. Candidates with an electrical or electronics background will be considered an asset for future technical responsibilities.
Proposed Responsibilities
Installation of dental parts and components to dental equipment according to work instructions
Shipping/receiving functions for dental equipment and parts including lifting of boxes and crates of dental equipment
Repair and inspection of dental equipment and parts
Quality control inspection for incoming/outgoing dental equipment and parts
Report production or quality issues to verbally or in writing per procedure.
Documentation and record keeping for dental equipment and parts
Filling dental equipment and parts orders with paperwork
Maintaining inventory of dental equipment and parts
Periodic and semi-annual inventory counts
Maintain safe working conditions. Establish improve and follow safe working procedure. Keep working area and related areas clean.
Follow company quality control and health & safety procedures.
Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
At request by the supervisor helping the duty of the other department inside company under proper supervision and training.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic electrical understanding is required.
- Electrical or electronics education/experience in high school or higher is considered an asset.
- Forklift operating is an asset but not required
- Previous assembly experience is an asset but not required.
