Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data & Reporting Analyst to join the analytics team and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise hands-on experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI and the ability to build scalable reporting and analytics solutions.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders data engineers and leadership teams to deliver actionable insights optimize reporting processes and improve data accessibility across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

SQL Development & Data Analysis

• Write complex and optimized SQL queries to extract transform and analyze data from multiple sources.
  
• Improve query performance and ensure efficient data retrieval.
  
• Convert repetitive manual queries into reusable stored procedures functions and views.
  

Reporting & Dashboard Development

• Design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
  
• Build scalable and user-friendly reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
  
• Support self-service analytics initiatives through structured reporting frameworks.
  

Semantic Layer & Data Modeling

• Design semantic layers and logical data models to support consistent reporting and analytics.
  
• Ensure data consistency integrity and usability across reporting assets.
  

Database Migration & Optimization

• Support migration of stored procedures and reporting logic across database platforms.
  
• Validate data accuracy and minimize disruptions during migration activities.
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical and reporting solutions.
  
• Partner with cross-functional teams including business users leadership and engineering teams.
  

Data Quality & Governance

• Maintain data accuracy consistency and reliability across dashboards and reporting environments.
  
• Support data governance and reporting standards.
  

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with advanced SQL and query optimization.
  
• Experience building dashboards and reports using Tableau and/or Power BI.
  
• Good understanding of semantic layer design and data modeling concepts.
  
• Experience with stored procedures functions and reusable SQL frameworks.
  
• Knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing principles.
  
• Experience supporting database migration or reporting migration projects.
  
• Strong communication analytical and documentation skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multiple database platforms such as SQL Server Oracle PostgreSQL Snowflake or BigQuery.
  
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data governance practices.
  
• Exposure to Python or R scripting.
  
• Knowledge of version control and deployment best practices.
  
• Experience with advanced analytics or statistical methods.
