Data Product Lead

The Opportunity

Data is only as valuable as the decisions it drives and Euna Solutions is looking for the person who makes sure every data product we build drives a real one. As our Data Product Lead youll own the single most important artifact on our data team: the ranked backlog that determines what we build next and why. If you thrive at the intersection of business strategy technical credibility and relentless prioritization this is the role youve been waiting for.

What Youll Do

• Embed with sales marketing product and internal teams to uncover real problems and translate them into scoped estimable product opportunities.
• Own and maintain the single prioritized backlog of candidate data products defending every ranking decision with a transparent three-axis scoring model (business value feasibility data readiness).
• Define requirements data definitions and acceptance criteria for each product so the Data Architect and engineers build against a clear target.
• Partner with the Data Architect to shape and pressure-test solution design youre not building the pipelines but you understand the infrastructure well enough to make the call.
• Validate that each products output is correct then drive adoption inside the business to make sure realized value follows.
• Keep leadership and business owners aligned on sequence tradeoffs and the reasoning behind every prioritization decision.
• In your first 90 days: inventory existing demand publish v1 of the ranked backlog and align with the Data Architect so the build starts the moment the architecture is ready no phase-two gate.

What You Bring

• Experience as a Product Owner Product Manager or Business Analyst working directly on data analytics or reporting products.
• A proven track record of turning ambiguous business needs into scoped prioritized deliverables that shipped and landed.
• Strong commercial instinct you can reason about revenue retention cost and risk and defend a ranking to a skeptical executive without flinching.
• Genuine technical depth in data infrastructure and modern data stacks: enough to solution alongside an architect pressure-test feasibility and hold a credible design conversation.
• Comfort operating across functions as fluent with a sales leader as with a data engineer.
• Clear structured written communication; your backlog and your reasoning are visible durable artifacts that the whole team can work from.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Familiarity with public sector GovTech or B2B SaaS environments.
• A hands-on background building data or analytics products earlier in your career not just managing them.
• Experience introducing a scoring or prioritization framework to a team that didnt have one.

Location

This position will be hybrid with 3 days/week in our Oakville ON office. (Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday)

Compensation Range:$150000 - $190000 CAD
