Data Center Security Guard FT (Overnights) 1

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to provide overnight security coverage at a secure data center facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining site security monitoring access and ensuring the safety of personnel property and critical infrastructure.

Position Title: Security Guard - Data Center

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $19.31 per hour

Shift Schedule:

• Overnights: Tuesday to Friday 00:00 - 08:00 & Sunday: 20:00 - 08:00

To Qualify to be hired for this position you MUST have lived in Canada for 5 consecutive years and be able to pass Reliability Clearance Status with the Government.

• Control and monitor access to the data center facility
• Conduct regular patrols of the site (interior and exterior)
• Monitor CCTV alarms and security systems
• Enforce site policies and security procedures
• Respond appropriately to incidents emergencies and alarms
• Complete accurate incident reports and shift logs
• Communicate effectively with site management and emergency services as required

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Must beeligible for Government of Canada Reliability Status clearance
• Must have been a Canadian resident for the past five (5) consecutive years
• Valid security guard license (as required by provincial regulations)
• A valid First Aid Certificate Required
• Strong reliability punctuality and professionalism
• Ability to work overnight shifts and extended hours (12-hour Sunday shift)
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain alert and focused in a high-security environment
