Data Architect Senior

We are hiring a Senior Data Architect to support the Government bodys OneData Alberta & Crosswalk Program.

This role focuses on enterprise data architecture Data Fabric/Data Mesh initiatives AI-enabled data products and cloud-based data solutions across Snowflake Azure and Cloudera environments.

• Lead enterprise and solution data architecture initiatives
• Must have past experience workin gwith public sector in Canada/ USA
• Design scalable data integration governance and secure data-sharing frameworks
• Support AI-enabled data products and advanced analytics solutions
• Develop enterprise data models semantic layers and metadata standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders technical teams and leadership
• Guide modernization initiatives across cloud and hybrid platforms

• 5 years in enterprise/data architecture and data integration
• Experience with cloud and big data platforms (Azure Snowflake Cloudera)
• Strong understanding of data governance security and enterprise architecture
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills

• Public sector experience
• TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks
• AI/ML and Responsible AI experience
• Data Mesh / Data Fabric experience

• Alberta business hours
