Cutting Line Operator

Reporting to the Plant Manager the Cutting Line Operator supports the EPS cutting line by assisting with machine setup handling materials and performing basic production tasks under supervision. Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare materials and organize workstations to support efficient production flow.
• Load and unload EPS blocks onto/off the cutting table ensuring proper alignment and handling.
• Label products according to production and traceability requirements.
• Package finished products for storage or shipping.
• Follow safety instructions and wear appropriate PPE at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate any abnormal situations or issues to senior operators or Lead Operator promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area free of obstructions and hazards.
• Observe and learn machine operation processes to build skills for future advancement.
• All other duties as defined by the Plant Manager.

• Experience: Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset but not required
• Skills: Ability to follow instructions and established procedures attention to detail ability to maintain a clean and safe work area ability to adhere to safety standards basic communication willingness to learn production procedures effective teamwork and communication reliability and punctuality

Position Details

• Full-time term position until mid-December
• 40-hours per week working 8-hour shifts 8am - 4pm
