As a custom layout designer you will be involved in:

• Implementing high speed and high accuracy cells blocks and IP blocks in a timely fashion with high quality and efficiency
• Building layouts and layout methodologies involving the latest nodes from the world leading foundries
• Working with custom layout designers from groups all over the world to build high quality IP and test-chips
• Working with circuit designers from groups all over the world to understand their technical and schedule needs
• Collaborate with the Cadence R&D teams (Virtuoso PVS developers) to help develop the industry-leading layout editing and verification tools

• Exposure to Cadence Virtuoso Layout and physical verification tools
• Team player driven self-motivated and autonomous
• Excellent communication presentation and customer service skills
• Exposure to microelectronics design and requirements

• Faire la conception du layout de cellules et de blocs IP haute vitesse et haute précision dans les délais impartis avec un haut niveau de qualité et defficacité.
• Developper des layout et des méthodologies de layout utilisant les processus de fabrication les plus avancés des leaders de la fabrication de circuits intégrés
• Collaborer avec des concepteurs analogiques de circuits intégrés de différentes régions du monde pour bâtir des circuits blocs IP et des puces de test
• Collaborer avec des concepteurs analogiques de circuits intégrés de différentes régions du monde afin de comprendre leurs besoins techniques et de planification.
• Collaborer avec les équipes de R et D de Cadence (développeurs Virtuoso et Pegasus) pour contribuer au développement des outils dédition et de vérification des circuits intégrés.

Description de poste supplémentaire

• Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en génie électrique
• Expérience en layout analogique : 3 à 10ans
• Excellentes compétences en programmation
• Connaissance de la conception et des exigences en microélectronique
• Compréhension de linfluence de limplantation sur le circuit (vitesse résistance capacitance consommation de courant surface etc.)
• Connaissance des techniques de layout analogique (matching shielding etc.)
• Maîtrise des outils de Cadence Virtuoso Layout et de vérification physique
• Esprit déquipe dynamisme autonomie et motivation
• Excellentes compétences en communication en présentation et en service à la clientèle

The annual salary range for Canada is $109000 to $202800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus equity and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location.
