The bigger picture

Were looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Credit Policy Analyst to support the ongoing development maintenance implementation and governance of credit policies standards and supporting principles across our this role youll contribute to effective credit risk governance practices that align with our approved risk appetite strategic priorities regulatory expectations and sound lending practices.

How youll be spending your time

  • Supporting the development maintenance and ongoing enhancement of consumer residential commercial and agriculture credit policies and standards.
  • Researching drafting and updating credit policy documentation to support organizational objectives regulatory requirements and evolving business needs.
  • Contributing to credit policy review cycles interim updates version control processes and governance documentation.
  • Researching legislative regulatory insurer and industry developments that may impact lending practices and credit risk management.
  • Identifying emerging risks policy gaps and opportunities to improve credit policy clarity consistency and effectiveness.
  • Supporting responses related to internal audit findings regulatory reviews and policy-related governance requests.
  • Providing guidance and clarification to business line leaders and stakeholders regarding credit policy interpretation and application.
  • Partnering with business lines adjudication teams procedure owners and operational support teams to support consistent implementation of policy changes.
  • Contributing to change management communication and continuous improvement activities related to credit policy updates and enhancements.

The experience you bring

  • Financial institution experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in consumer commercial and/or agriculture lending adjudication credit operations or related support functions.
  • Experience supporting or developing credit policy and governance documentation is considered an asset.
  • An understanding of lending practices underwriting principles and credit risk management concepts.
  • Familiarity with government and insurer lending programs and requirements.
  • An understanding of applicable legislative and regulatory requirements including the Standards of Sound Business Practice.
  • Experience supporting projects process improvements and/or change initiatives is considered an asset.

Salary range

$69480 - $86850 with 9% Short Term Incentive Target
