Cost Controller
Job Summary
- Manage the cost control cycle throughout the project execution by setting up projects/mandates tracking budgets and schedules within the project management system;
- Calculate the initial budget on the basis of the proposal;
- Ensure tracking of hours expenses costs and budget updates;
- Monitor changes and coordination with the project team;
- Evaluate change requests evaluate their impact on project objectives and communicate changes to stakeholders;
- Ensure and manage the project progress monitoring with discipline managers including cost and schedule controls;
- Ensure follow-up with project managers on regular updates of project forecasts including periodic assistance in the estimation of remaining project costs as well as necessary provisions and risks;
- Records and resolves issues relating to project budgets and schedules;
- Ensure the quality of prepared project status reports executive summaries and dashboards to provide timely updates on performance.
- Degree in Administration Finance or Engineering;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position preferably in the construction industry;
- Bilingual (an asset) but proficiency in English language with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is required;
- Strong personal IT skills (MS Office suite) and relevant software skills specific to project controls.

Required Skills:
