About the role:
Reporting to the Supervisor Safety and Loss Control the Coordinator Safety and Loss Controlis responsible forworking with contractors and employees of varying backgrounds to ensure safe efficient and environmentally responsible execution of work and supporting high potential risk initiatives. With direction from theGreenhillsLine CreekOperations team the Coordinator Safety and Loss Control will develop and grow a program that is critical to the success of the operation.

To achievethisyou must have well-honed communication and interpersonal skills be able to gauge your audience and convey a message effectively.

In this role you will:
Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
Supportoperational groups with health and safety initiatives
Completehealth and safety audits and critical control verifications
Coach mentor and support effective health and safety contract management strategies
Develop and present health and safety materials to the crews and management
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of applicable HSRC regulations or similar
Certificate Diploma or Degree in Health and Safety or OFA Level 3 would be an asset
Relevant experience in mining processing facilities maintenance facilities or operational experience in construction or other heavy industry is an asset
Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent
Salary range: $80160 / year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidates relevant experience skills and competencies and considers internal equity.
