What Youll Do:
- Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you and your team are actively contributing to a safe work environment
- Partner with Category Managers and Specialists across Category Management to support the strategic sourcing process
- Manage competitive sourcing events build and negotiate contracts across multiple categories technical categories and complex categories
- Lead a mix of global and regional sourcing events often with competing priorities and challenging timelines
- Strong risk management and T&C skills with adequate commercial acumen to find creative and innovation alternatives and strategies
- Expertise in contract formation and negotiation that would also include commercial aspects (should cost modeling supplier market analysis KPIs)
- Lead stakeholder management in partnership with the corresponding Category manager
- Lead the RFP evaluation and supplier selection
What Youll Bring:
- Bachelors degree required ideally in Business Supply Chain Engineering or similar discipline
- 6 years relevant experience in complex contracting supporting category management strategic sourcing supply chain management or equivalent
- Analytical abilities and experience using quantitative insights to make decisions and influence stakeholders
- Clear and solid understanding of and practical experience with enterprise asset management systems (SAP/Oracle) spend management tools (e.g. Ariba Analysis & Reports) data management tools and source-to-pay systems (eProcurement)
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
