Job Summary
What Youll Do
As a CI Specialist you will:
- Find the opportunity use data observation and employee feedback to identify where we can do better.
- Solve the problem lead root-cause investigations using tools like 5-Why Fishbone Pareto A3 and PDCA.
- Improve performance identify ways to reduce downtime scrap waste changeover time and inefficiencies.
- Bring people together work with operators supervisors maintenance quality and engineering to develop practical solutions.
- Lead improvement projects take ideas from What if to implementation and measurable results.
- Turn data into action analyze downtime waste productivity and other key metrics to find opportunities.
- Build the CI culture encourage employees to speak up challenge the status quo and participate in improvements.
- Make improvements last standardize successful changes and make sure the gains are sustained.
What Were Looking For
- Degree or college diploma in Engineering Manufacturing Operations Business or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in Continuous Improvement Lean Manufacturing Operations Engineering or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean tools and structured problem-solving.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills.
- Strong project management and communication skills. Manufacturing experience is required; experience in plastics extrusion converting flexible packaging or process manufacturing is an asset.
