If you enjoy hands-on work staying active and being part of a team this role is a strong a Commercial Tire Technician youll work on a variety of commercial vehicles providing tire installation repair and maintenance services that help keep our customers operating safely and efficiently. Its a physical fast-paced role where safety reliability and customer service youre bringing previous tire experience or looking to build your skills in the industry youll have the training equipment and support to grow your career with Kal Tire.

Responsibilities

• Install remove rotate balance and repair commercial tires
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify service requirements
• Perform tire maintenance including inflation checks tread inspections and condition assessments
• Provide fleet roadside and off-site tire service as required
• Operate tire service equipment safely and effectively
• Communicate completed work and maintenance recommendations to customers
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times

Requirements

• Commercial tire or automotive experience is an asset but not required
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Team-oriented with a safety-first approach
• Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment
