Commercial Litigation Associate

WeirFoulds LLP is seeking an associate lawyer to join our thriving Commercial Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience working on complex litigation files
• Experience with (or an interest in) fraud and cryptocurrency litigation files is considered an asset
• Strong technical legal research drafting and organization skills
• Demonstrated strengths in entrepreneurialism including client service client relationships and client development
• Ability to work with lawyers at all levels and be a team player
• Ability to balance competing demands as well as be self-motivated innovative and flexible
• Ability to manage document intensive files
• Confidence to manage files and clients independently
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
• Excellent academic credentials

The successful candidate will work with our team of commercial litigators on a variety of challenging sophisticated and complex litigation cases representing a broad range of clients. This role will have a particular focus on litigating matters related to blockchain technologies cryptocurrencies and other digital assets. This is a new role.
