Commercial Lines Account Assistant, Surety Solutions

About The Role

HUB International continues to grow and we are looking for a strong Commercial Account Assistant to effectively support the busy account workflow for our Surety Practice in downtown Toronto. This is an ideal role for an individual who is responsive can handle a high volume of work and has strong customer service. This is an ideal role for someone who is interested in learning and supporting a growing niche market.

What Youll Do

• Preparing and processing surety bond documentation across Canada
• Answering client queries and communicating with insurance companies
• Uploading documentation to various systems and setting up electronic client files in Epic
• Maintaining an effective abeyance system
• Assisting and supporting Account Managers and responding to client inquiries
• Helping where required and performing all other duties as assigned by Account Team

Qualifications and expertise that pave the way for Success

• Typically 2 years of administrative support experience required
• RIBO Licensed an asset
• Surety knowledge or experience as an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word Excel and Outlook and other technologies i.e. Adobe
• Strong organizational time and client management skills
• Detail-Oriented with strong initiative and follow-up skills
• Effective communication skills: verbal and written
• Strong team player
• Proactive and customer-focused approach

The expected salary range for this position is $48000-$55000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience andworking location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
