About the team

We are a group of generalist software engineers with a C focus working together to democratize the creation and extension of computations in the Maestro platform. We are a fast-moving collaborative team and each of us is passionate about what we do. Compensation range

$24.15 - $35.42hourly rate. The final offer within this range will reflect the candidates skills year of education and experience.

What you will do

• Use a variety of modern technologies and work across the software development lifecycle from development through build and into testing and test automation.
• Develop high quality well-crafted code that delivers value to our customers
• Test the work of other team members and develop automated tests
• Collaborate with developers and testers on your team and other teams
• Support a variety of special projects as needed

What we are looking for

• 3^rd year student in Computer Science Software Engineering or an equivalent program
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for writing well-crafted maintainable robust unit-test covered code
• Experience with data structures algorithms multi-threading and other core software concepts
• Ability to quickly grasp technical ideas
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to our processes

Things that would definitely help

• Prior development experience with C
• Practical Knowledge of C STL containers
• Development experience with Java/C# and/or Typescript
• Experience with Network programming
• Understanding of Cloud Platforms and Kubernetes
