How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
The Clinical Assistant facilitates administrative aspects and offers support in the storefront area as it pertains to CPAP therapy in a specific branch location or a site under the supervision of a healthcare professional. The incumbent is also responsible for the delivery setup and instruction on the use of home apnea testing. The Clinical Assistant also promotes the safety and quality practices of Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada Inc.Committed to contributing towards a safe work environment by obeying safety procedures and policies working and encouraging others to perform in a safe manner at all times. Reports unsafe occurrences and/or practices.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; and arranging for repairs.
Contributes to the growth of Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada Inc. by liaising with medical professionals; providing information/literature to prospective clients; providing demonstration of products and services to prospective clients.
Provides friendly and helpful service to customers by greeting the public providing specific information as it pertains to CPAP therapy. Assists with sales and maintenance of CPAP inventory for the branch. Assists with sales of CPAP supplies to walk-in clients when requiring specific education to client. Jointly booking CPAP appointments and follow up for clients at the Branch.
Collaborates with staff for optimal customer service and communicates with healthcare professionals as needed.
Cleans sets up provides instructions to patients on home testing for diagnostics.
Documents client care services by charting in client records.
Facilitates payment by preparation of funding documents and maintaining knowledge of funding systems. Maintains client confidence and protects Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada Inc. operations by keeping information confidential.
Protects clients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols.
Seeks to continuously improve the operation of the branch by evaluating processes and workflow and participating in other quality improvement activities as well as self growth and learning.
Performs other duties as required.
Are you a MATCH
College Certificate/Diploma in Medical Office Administration or medical background preferred.
LPN RRT internationally trained medical professionals are encouraged to apply.
1-2 years of experience in office practice or technical/customer service roles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office ERP and Google systems with strong data entry and selling skills.
Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of homecare equipment is an asset.
Satisfactory physical fitness to meet job requirements.
Valid drivers license.
Able to legally work in Canada.
Willing to learn and pursue CPSGT course.
