An establishedlaw firm in Vaughan that is looking to add an experienced Civil Litigation Law Clerk to its team.
This firm has built a strong reputation acting for major Canadian banks and financial institutions in a range of litigation and enforcement matters including 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲-𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫:
5 years of 𝐜𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐚𝐰 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐤 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚
Strong experience drafting 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬
Excellent knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Ontario litigation processes
Hands-on experience with CaseLines and the Justice Services Online (JSO) portal
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines effectively
Experience in mortgage enforcement is a strong asset
