Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly

What will you be doing
As a Speech Assistant you will work side-by-side with a Speech Language Pathologist and families to provide support and promote the development of children. Responsibilities include:
Completing follow through on each childs speech goals.
Assisting speech and language therapist with implementation.
Planning and implementing programming based on the needs of the child.
Effectively communicating and building a relationship with children and families.
Collaborate with day care team.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
1-3 years of experience working in the child care field or in a position with children who have diverse learning or developmental delays
Excellent communication skills
Access to a reliable vehicle and a drivers license
Must meeting province requirements for childcare employment
CPR & First Aid certification
