Murray Chevrolet Cadillac Lethbridge is currentlyseeking an experienced and Certified Journeyman Automotive ServiceTechnician to join our Service Team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to:
Perform complete and accurate vehiclediagnostics.
Complete repairs efficiently and verify the effectiveness of all repairsperformed.
Diagnose and repair vehicles with electrical and drivability concerns.
Ensure every vehicle receives a thorough inspection and that findings areclearly documented and communicated.
Complete repair orders accurately and in accordance with GM requirementsdealership policies and warranty procedures.
Prepare complete and accurate repair estimates including all required partsfluids and labour.
Track labour operations accurately including diagnosis time and additionalrepair functions.
Perform AMVIC and Out-of-Province inspections on customer anddealership-owned vehicles as required.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Education andExperience Required:
Journeyman Automotive Service TechnicianCertificate is required. Applicants without certification will not beconsidered.
Minimum of two years of experience diagnosing and repairing drivability andelectrical concerns is required; five or more years of experience is preferred.
Strong automotive knowledge in drivability electrical and mechanicalsystems.
Previous vehicle inspection experience would be considered an asset.
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
Valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers License required.
General Motors training and/or experience is considered an asset.
Basic computer skills are required.

Compensationand Schedule:
Flat-rate wage range of $36.50 to $46.50 perhour based on experience and qualifications.
Average of 40 hours per week.
Typical schedule consists of an 8-hour shift (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunchbreak) Monday through Friday.
Shift start times range between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
Shift end times range between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Occasional Saturday work may be required on a rotational basis during peakbusiness periods including spring and fall tire seasons.
