Canada Life is seeking an experienced CDP (Customer Data Platform) Lead to define and drive the strategy design and implementation of Customer Data Platform solutions. This role will provide technical and functional leadership in building unified customer profiles enabling data-driven insights and supporting personalized customer engagement across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Define CDP architecture strategy and implementation roadmap
Design and build unified customer data models and segmentation frameworks
Lead integration of CDP with enterprise systems (CRM OnBase APIs marketing platforms)
Ensure data ingestion transformation identity resolution and data quality management
Enable real-time and batch data processing for customer insights and analytics
Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver personalized customer engagement solutions
Establish governance privacy and compliance standards for customer data
Oversee data pipelines APIs and integration patterns supporting CDP
Provide leadership to development teams and ensure adherence to best practices
Monitor system performance data accuracy and optimization opportunities
Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across business units
Required Qualifications
8 years of experience in data platforms data engineering or customer data solutions
Strong expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and customer data architecture
Experience with data integration ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
Knowledge of customer data modeling identity resolution and segmentation
Experience with API integrations and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
Strong understanding of data governance privacy and compliance (GDPR etc.)
Experience working with analytics and marketing technology ecosystems
Strong leadership stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice-to-Have
Experience in financial services or insurance domain
Familiarity with leading CDP tools (e.g. Adobe RT-CDP Salesforce CDP Tealium)
Knowledge of real-time streaming platforms (Kafka)
Exposure to AI/ML-driven customer analytics and personalization
Experience integrating CDP with Appian OnBase or API ecosystems
Work Arrangement
Hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. This is a leadership role within a collaborative cross-functional environment.
