About the Role

As Café Supervisor youll be the heartbeat of daily café operations. Youll lead from the floor support your team prepare high-quality beverages and make sure every guest feels welcomed cared for and excited to return.

What Youll Do

Create Exceptional Guest Experiences

• Deliver warm engaging and professional service.

• Craft high-quality coffee and beverages with consistency and care.

• Share product knowledge and recommendations with confidence.

• Help create memorable moments for guests visiting Squamish Canyon.

Lead and Support Your Team

• Act as the on-shift leader and key point of support.

• Coach mentor and encourage team members to excel.

• Assist with onboarding and training new baristas.

• Foster a positive collaborative and energetic workplace culture.

Keep Operations Running Smoothly

• Maintain clean organized and efficient workspaces.

• Support inventory management ordering and restocking.

• Operate POS systems accurately and confidently.

• Assist with cash handling and daily reconciliations.

• Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed to a high standard.

What Youll Bring

1-2 years of food & beverage experience in a fast-paced café environment.

Strong espresso-based beverage preparation and basic machine maintenance skills.

Excellent customer service communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to stay calm organized and positive in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds

Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

FOODSAFE Level 1 Serving It Right or OFA Level 1 certification would be an asset.

Coffee equipment maintenance experience preferred but not essential.

Work Environment

Full-time year-round role with flexible availability for early mornings weekends and holidays.

Fast-paced guest-focused café environment.

Primarily indoor café work with occasional support for outdoor events and activations.
