Duration: Until April 2027 (with possible extension per contract terms)
Position Overview
The Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to enhance audit analytics and reporting capabilities within a Microsoft Dynamics 365-based Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders technical teams and data specialists to design and deliver reporting solutions data models dashboards and analytics that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
- Design develop and maintain enterprise reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Extract transform and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into Data Warehouse/Lakehouse environments.
- Create logical and physical data models to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Develop dashboards reports visualizations and KPIs for business users.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends patterns and business insights.
- Ensure data quality integrity accuracy and consistency across reporting solutions.
- Implement security controls and data governance practices to protect sensitive information.
- Optimize database queries ETL processes and reporting performance.
- Work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O) data sources.
- Utilize Azure-based data platforms and reporting technologies.
- Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to project team members and stakeholders.
- Follow Ontario Government standards security policies architecture guidelines and project methodologies.

- 8 years in Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing
