Business Analyst (CO-OP Fall to Spring)

Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and documenting business and user requirements through interviews workshops and stakeholder discussions.
- Support the creation and maintenance of user stories business requirements documents (BRDs) process flows and other project documentation.
- Work with product development and quality assurance teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Help create low-fidelity prototypes wireframes and process diagrams to support solution design.
- Participate in application testing activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test case preparation and
- validation of business requirements.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify product improvements industry trends and customer needs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and documenting product issues while collaborating with technical teams on potential solutions.
- Support stakeholder communication by tracking requirements updates and project activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning stand-ups retrospectives and backlog refinement sessions.
- Contribute to product roadmaps feature prioritization discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science Business Administration Information Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Interest in product management business analysis enterprise software and technology solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies Design Thinking or software development concepts is considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Basic understanding of business process analysis and documentation techniques.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel PowerPoint Word) and collaboration platforms.
- Knowledge of SAP technologies cloud applications or enterprise software is considered an asset but not required.
