Essential Responsibilities
Operate and maintain tools and equipment (jackhammers drills sandblasters etc.)
Perform bridge maintenance: cleaning sealing painting placing structural steel and concrete
Work at heights and confined spaces
Follow specifications safety and quality standards
Operate heavy equipment in the winter seasons including snow plows and wheel loaders (training provided)
What You Bring
3 years bridge or construction experience preferred
Valid Class 5 drivers license (Class 3 an asset)
Ability to work independently or in a team
Comfortable working outdoors at heights in confined spaces and with heavy equipment
Work Conditions
Shift: Monday to Friday 8-13 hours per day
Shift work nights and on-call as needed
Full time year round position
Overnight travel required to work sites around Alberta in a Ledcor Crew truck
Accommodations and meal allowance provided when working out of town
Position is only open to locals based in the greater Edmonton area
Rates & Premiums
Rates: $24.50 per hour to start with opportunities to work towards a fully paid Apprenticeship and Journeyperson rates up to $35.00 per hour
Night shift premium of $3 per hour
