Essential Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain tools and equipment (jackhammers drills sandblasters etc.)

• Perform bridge maintenance: cleaning sealing painting placing structural steel and concrete

• Work at heights and confined spaces

• Follow specifications safety and quality standards

• Operate heavy equipment in the winter seasons including snow plows and wheel loaders (training provided)

What You Bring

• 3 years bridge or construction experience preferred

• Valid Class 5 drivers license (Class 3 an asset)

• Ability to work independently or in a team

• Comfortable working outdoors at heights in confined spaces and with heavy equipment

Work Conditions

• Shift: Monday to Friday 8-13 hours per day

• Shift work nights and on-call as needed

• Full time year round position

• Overnight travel required to work sites around Alberta in a Ledcor Crew truck

• Accommodations and meal allowance provided when working out of town

• Position is only open to locals based in the greater Edmonton area

Rates & Premiums

• Rates: $24.50 per hour to start with opportunities to work towards a fully paid Apprenticeship and Journeyperson rates up to $35.00 per hour

• Night shift premium of $3 per hour

• Comprehensive benefits & RRSP program
