Job Duties:

- Set up and conduct biological microbiological and biochemical laboratory tests and analyses to support research and quality control activities

- Apply laboratory techniques including but not limited to microscopy histochemistry chromatography electrophoresis and spectroscopy

- Perform standardized laboratory procedures related to antibody production characterization and validation

- Conduct immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining procedures and prepare microscope slides for analysis

- Prepare laboratory reagents buffers and solutions in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- Handle label aliquot and store biological samples and laboratory materials following laboratory protocols

- Collect organize and assist in the analysis of laboratory data and experimental results

- Identify and report experimental variances or technical issues

- Maintain accurate experimental records and documentation in laboratory notebooks or electronic systems

- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment used in biological testing and research

- Perform routine equipment maintenance calibration checks and cleaning

- Follow laboratory safety procedures quality control standards and established protocols

Job Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in Biology Biochemistry Immunology Biotechnology or a related life sciences field

- Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in biological biotechnology or biomedical environments

- Experience performing laboratory tests and operating laboratory equipment

- Knowledge of laboratory techniques such as microscopy histochemistry or electrophoresis is an asset

- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
