About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and organizedBeef Marketing Specialistto fill a 6 month temporary vacancy and support the growth of the Semex Beef program through marketing coordination digital content development and product support.

What You Will Do:

Marketing Support

• Develop content for newsletters social media brochures catalogues and advertisements
• Coordinate beef content for the Semex website and digital platforms
• Assistwith video production photography coordination and promotional materials
• Coordinate trade show displays andparticipatein select industry events
• Support the preparation of the beef marketing budget

Product Support

• Respond to breeder inquiries and provide technical product support
• Assistwith tours product launches and distributor communications
• Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing and sales tools such asSemexGO
• Assistwith collecting and preparing materials for product releases

What You Need to Succeed:

• Degree or diploma in Agriculture Marketing Communications Animal Science or related field
• Strong communication organizational and project coordination skills
• Knowledge of the beef industry and beef genetics considered an asset
• Experience with social media digital marketing and content creation preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams

Work Location & Minimum Pay Rate

This is an in-person role requiring 5 days per week in our Guelph location on a 6 month contract to provide temporary support during a leave of absence. This position offers a minimum starting wage of $31.00 / hour with potential compensation enhancements based on applicable experience and qualifications.
