This leadership role is responsible for guest safety operational support team supervision and security oversight in one of Nunavuts busiest hospitality successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe welcoming and enjoyable guest experience while supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Storehouse Bar & ResponsibilitiesGuest Service & SafetyEnsure the safety comfort and enjoyment of all engage with guests and check in to ensure they are having a positive guest concerns complaints or service issues in a professional and timely a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere throughout the patron behaviour and ensure compliance with establishment policies and Nunavut liquor & Team SupportProvide leadership and direction to the Bar Support & Security and maintain a positive respectful and collaborative team employee engagement and contribute to a strong workplace operational coverage and leadership support during supervisor absences or as required by the closely with servers bartenders support staff and management to ensure smooth & OperationsMaintain a safe and secure environment for guests employees and identification and ensure compliance with legal age requirements and liquor manage difficult situations involving intoxicated disruptive or non-compliant incident reports and communicate concerns to routine security checks throughout the with crowd control and guest management during peak periods and special & Closing ResponsibilitiesAssist with opening and closing duties as end-of-night security walkthroughs and building all guests have safely exited the premises at closing with securing the facility and reporting maintenance or safety operational readiness for the next business experience in a bar nightclub hospitality hotel restaurant or security supervisory or leadership experience conflict-resolution and de-escalation communication and customer service to remain calm and professional under to work evenings weekends holidays and late-night to work independently while exercising sound We OfferFull-time employment (40 hours per week)Competitive compensationSubsidized staff housing availableRelocation assistance available within Canada for the successful candidateA unique opportunity to live and work in NunavutIf you have a passion for hospitality guest service leadership and creating a safe environment we encourage you to apply today.
