Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Engineer to design deploy and manage containerized applications on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kubernetes Azure cloud services CI/CD automation and cloud-native infrastructure with experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.

Build and maintain highly available secure and scalable Kubernetes environments.

Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform ARM Templates or Bicep.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Configure ingress controllers load balancing networking and service mesh solutions.

Monitor AKS clusters using Azure Monitor Prometheus Grafana and Log Analytics.

Perform cluster upgrades patching scaling backup and disaster recovery activities.

Implement Kubernetes security best practices including RBAC Azure AD integration and Azure Key Vault.

Troubleshoot production issues related to Kubernetes networking storage and application deployments.

Collaborate with DevOps Development Security and Infrastructure teams.

Create technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.

6 10 years of IT experience.

4 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Azure Cloud.

Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Experience with Docker containerization.

Hands-on expertise in Azure networking and cloud infrastructure.

Strong knowledge of Linux administration.

Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform ARM Templates or Bicep.

Strong scripting skills using PowerShell Bash or Python.

Experience with Git and version control.

Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
