Assistant Marketing Manager
Job Summary
The Assistant Marketing Manager supports the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen Manulifes group retirement leadership position. Working across Canadian and U.S. markets this role helps bring integrated marketing programs to life through content development thought leadership activation website management events and sales enablement.
The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across business segments and external partners to execute initiatives that drive engagement with plan sponsors advisors and key industry audiences. This role requires strong project management skills cross-functional collaboration attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Support Canadian Longevity Strategy Activation
Coordinate and support integrated marketing initiatives that advance Manulifes longevity strategy across business units and markets.
Partner with stakeholders across multiple business segments and external organizations to support enterprise priorities and strategic alignment.
Assist in the development and execution of campaigns events thought leadership content and sales enablement materials that reinforce Manulifes leadership position in longevity.
Support engagement opportunities that enhance awareness and adoption of longevity-related initiatives among internal and external audiences.
Support Enterprise Thought Leadership Research Programs
Support the marketing activation and ongoing management of Manulifes flagship research platforms
Help translate research insights into integrated marketing campaigns media opportunities client-facing materials and engagement programs.
Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the effective and consistent use of research assets across Canada and the United States.
Track project milestones coordinate deliverables and support annual research launch activities.
Support Canada Retirement B2B Content Strategy
Support the execution of the retirement businesss B2B marketing strategy focused on advisors and plan sponsors.
Assist in the development and implementation of quarterly content plans aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders to support content creation and distribution.
Manage logistics materials and follow-up activities for quarterly advisory council meetings and related stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Manage B2B Website Content
Own content coordination and maintenance for the U.S. Retirement B2B public website.
Partner with business editorial and digital stakeholders to develop and execute a timely and relevant content roadmap.
Ensure website content remains aligned with strategic priorities marketing campaigns regulatory requirements and business objectives.
Monitor content performance and identify opportunities to enhance user engagement and content effectiveness.
Support Canada Retirement Growth Initiatives
Support execution of Canada Retirements annual projects and strategic growth initiatives.
Assist in the development of go-to-market activities marketing materials sales enablement resources and communications plans for key programs.
Coordinate project deliverables and marketing activities that support growth retention and client engagement objectives.
Maintain project timelines facilitate stakeholder coordination and support execution across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field.
35 years of marketing communications content marketing or project management experience preferably in financial services.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns content strategies events or thought leadership programs.
Ability to work effectively across multiple business functions and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital content management platforms.
Knowledge of retirement or financial services is considered an asset.

Salary range is expected to be between
$73725.00 CAD - $122875.00 CADEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training.
