You are a seasoned executive with recent experience leading large complex multi-stakeholder operations within the public or private sector. You have a proven track record of delivering results through the leadership of significant operational programs management of substantial financial and human resources and fostering strategic partnerships with senior government officials industry leaders Indigenous communities regulators and stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes. Experience in energy natural resources resource stewardship regulatory operations royalty administration compliance commercial operations or related sectors will be considered a significant asset. Demonstrated success leading complex operational environments modernization initiatives data-driven decision-making and organizational transformation is highly desirable.
The successful candidate is a visionary and results orientated executive who demonstrates exceptional political acumen strategic foresight and sound judgment in a complex and dynamic environment. You are an accomplished leader with the ability to inspire high-performing teams drive organizational transformation and foster productive relationships across government industry Indigenous communities and other key stakeholder groups. By championing the departments values and priorities you foster trust inspire confidence and provide decisive leadership in through periods of change and uncertainty. Success in this role requires balancing long-term strategic thinking with operational excellence guiding the division through an evolving political and industry environment promoting accountability innovation and exceptional service to Albertans.
A bachelors degree in a related discipline is preferred.
