Description

As an Asset Sales Generalist you will assist the Asset Sales Specialist with end-of-lease income through a variety of channels; renewals/extensions with lessees or arrange for equipment sales to partners and third parties while ensuring the equipment is returned in its agreed upon condition.

Day to day

  • Own the end of lease process for the assets you will be responsible for. This process may include lease expiry notifications email follow-up personal contact with customers to discuss options and procedures. All these activities require clear communication to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Handle end of lease inquiries related to documentation including providing copy of renewal invoices return instructions buyout copy of contracts etc.
  • In case of equipment returns: organize logistics to ensure cost-effective and delivery of assets to be remarketed.
  • Make decisions to determine next steps in the end of lease process is necessary to finalize a file.
  • Execute appropriate documentation invoicing sale of assets and several administrative functions
  • Enforce contractual cancellation terms and return conditions arrange for the timely collection of restocking fees excess usage and damages to DLLs equipment.
  • Liaison with vendor and dealer partners on all end of lease related requests.
  • Work an assigned worklist for follow-up related to Asset disposition.
  • Manage refunds & lease terminations.
  • Work closely with Asset Sales Specialists and Business Development Managers with administrative tasks as needed

Essentials:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience

  • Strong communication skills in speaking reading writing in English is required

  • Analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Excel

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to learn different aspects of each GBU including Office equipment Constructions Agricultural healthcare and tech equipment. Multitasking is a must.

  • Ability to interact at different levels of a customer organization

  • Strong focus on customer service and relationship management

  • Open to give and receive feedback to foster a learning culture in the team

  • Able to work in a multi-functional and multi-cultural environment

  • Ready to go above and beyond to deliver results

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work from home independently/in a team environment both remotely and in-office (twice a week on average)

  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills. Good interaction between the team members and other departments

Applicable pay range

$58271.00 - $87407.00

This position is subject to the terms of DLLs compensation plans and policies. Further the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees including healthcare benefits vacation sick leave parental leave possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are subject to eligibility.
