Job Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor the Aseptic Technician level 2 is responsible for the aseptic filling of drugs and in-process control testing according to specific product requirements and in compliance with cGMP SOPs and Bimeda quality standards.


Compensation: $31.05/ Hour. After completion of probation: $31.52/ Hour.


Job Duties

  • Ensures that all work is carried out in compliance with company Safety Policies Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Wears proper personal protective equipment and follows aseptic procedures when gowning de-gowning and working in the sterile and controlled areas.
  • Reports any accidents incidents and injuries or illnesses immediately and notifies manager of any hazards unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace.
  • Documentsallactivitiesastheyoccurinlogbooksattachmentsandactivitylogsasrequired.
  • MaintainscleaninglogsperSOPrequirements.
  • Assistswiththetrainingofnewoperators(Aseptictechnicianlevel1)asrequired.
  • DemonstratesproficiencyforallresponsibilitiesofanAsepticTechnicianLevel1.
  • Cleanssanitizesand/orsterilizesallequipmentandbottlesusedtostoretransferfillorfilter products.
  • MonitorstheEMsystemandnotifiesSupervisor/Microbiologyofanyanomalies.
  • Performsin-processtestingandrespondstomanufacturingandenvironmentalfeedbackfrom variousmonitoringsystems.
  • Appliesallrequiredstatuslabelingtoin-processmaterials.
  • ConductsfillingoperationsfollowingallrequiredAseptictechnique.
  • Performsminoradjustmentstothefillinglinetomaintainasmoothoperationandfillvolumeand conductsamoderateleveloftroubleshooting.
  • CompletesallnecessaryassignedtasksaspartoftheIncidentinvestigationprocess.
  • Otherdutiesasassigned.


Technical & Physical Capabilities:

  • 1-2 years in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing GMP environment.
  • Must be able to perform calculations using simple mathematical formulas using fractions percentages and significant numbers.
  • withtechnicalandwrittendocumentsandprocessinginstructionsaswellasclearlyandaccurately documentallrequiredinformationintobatchdocuments.
  • MechanicalaptituderequiredinordertooperatepumpsscalesPLCsandPHmeters.
  • Must be able to work around chemicals such as acids bases oxidizers and cleaning solvents while wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Physical requirements include stooping bending standing climbing and lifting of between 20kg-30Kg.
