Apprentice Automotive Technician / Tire Brake and Alignment Technician

If youre looking to build a long-term career in the automotive trade and prefer hands-on work this is a strong place to this role youll work alongside experienced technicians developing your skills in tires brakes and alignments. Youll gain real experience on the tools with the training and support to keep progressing through your apprenticeship. From day one youll have the training equipment and support to do your job safely and build your skills. Responsibilities

• Install remove repair and balance tires for passenger and light truck vehicles
• Perform brake services shock replacements and wheel alignments
• Assist with inspections and basic mechanical services (oil lube and filter)
• Diagnose tire and basic mechanical issues with support from the team
• Operate shop equipment including alignment and flush machines
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times

Requirements

• Enrolled in an Automotive Technician program or equivalent experience
• Valid drivers license
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment including lifting and movement
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Committed to working safely
