About the role:

Reporting to the Application Training Lead the Applications Traineris responsible fordelivering training to end users in the organization about how to usevarious typesof software programs efficiently and effectively in support of businessobjectives. This individualis responsible fordesigning delivering and improving in-house applications training roleis considered to bea change agent for EVRand willbe basedout of any site in the valley.

To be successful we are looking for someone with excellent communication interpersonalandorganizational skillswith good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Someone whohas the ability toeffectively interact with all levels of the organization hasstrong customer service orientationa high levelof initiative and the ability to work productively with nominal supervision.

In this role you will:

  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
  • Create administer analyze and report on end user needs assessments and skills assessments
  • Design develop and deliver training programs and individual classes for software applications
  • Review training materials and documentation as well as keeping them up to date
  • Create training videos to support Competency Based training model
  • Communicate software problems and issues to software development and support teams
  • Track training of participants in the training database
  • Provide Application support as required

Requirements:

  • Strongcomputer skills particularly with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of trends in computer technology relating to software
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent
  • Experience with staff development would be an asset
$76000 - $94000 a year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidates relevant experience skills and competencies and considers internal equity.
