Job Summary

Role: Appian Developer
Location: Toronto Canada (Hybrid)

Total Experience: 6-8 years
Role Description:
Design develop and maintain enterprise applications using the Appian low code platform
Build scalable record centric applications using Appian best practices
Develop SAIL interfaces process models records reports and integrations
Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions
Lead design discussions and perform code reviews
Optimize application performance security and scalability
Support deployments across Dev QA and Production environments
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers
Collaborate with business stakeholders architects QA and DevOps teams
Support UAT production issues and continuous improvement initiatives
Managerial skills nice to have
Ability to lead small development teams and own delivery of assigned modules
Mentor and coach junior developers on Appian best practices and design standards
Conduct code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
Coordinate with Product Owners Architects QA and DevOps teams
Track progress identify risks and raise issues escalations proactively
Ensure adherence to SDLC governance and Appian development standards
Support release planning cutover activities and postproduction stabilization
Provide input on resourcing technical dependencies and solution feasibility
