Ancillary Revenue Analyst (level 1)
Job Summary
In collaboration with the Manager Ancillary Revenues the incumbent contributes to monitoring and analyzing the performance of ancillary products. The role supports the team through analyses reporting and recommendations that help drive business decisions. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in revenue management within the airline industry.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the performance of ancillary products including seat selection baggage onboard sales and upgrades.
- Update maintain and enhance dashboards and key performance indicators.
- Compile validate and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports and summaries that support business decision-making.
- Conduct market and competitive research to track industry practices and trends.
- Assist in preparing presentations analyses and performance tracking documents for stakeholders.
- Provide observations and recommendations under supervision aimed at optimizing ancillary revenue performance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Economics Mathematics Statistics Engineering or a related field.
- Strong interest in data analysis revenue management and the commercial environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a high level of curiosity.
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or other data analytics tools is considered an asset.
- Excellent proficiency with MS Office applications (Word Excel Outlook Teams) and demonstrated ease using collaborative digital tools and AI technologies (e.g. Copilot).
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Oral and written fluency in French and English*.
* A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English both orally and in writing with colleagues customers and other stakeholders in Quebec the rest of Canada and internationally.
