Position Overview:
Reporting to the Sr. Manager Corporate Accounting you will work cross functionally with Finance Department team members in assisting with the preparation of monthly Financial Statements and Management reports. This role will balance accruals and bank processes with other corporate accounting responsibilities.
What Youll Do:
- Prepare month end journal entries for assigned areas (including accruals prepayments and reclassifications)
- Ensure accurate accounting for corporate operations including bank transactions intercompany fixed assets and other routine entries
- Complete balance sheet account reconciliations including bank reconciliations intercompany allocations and reconciliations as part of the month end close process
- Analyze variances between actuals vs. budget
- Proactively collaborate with business to determine appropriate accrual journal entries
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports as required
- Assist with quarterly/annual year end external audit
- Continuously look for efficiency in our processes assist with report automation and process improvement opportunities
- Actively participate in special projects
- Assist with other finance tasks as required including covering other team members work during their absences
Lets Talk About You:
- Working toward or has a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- 2-5 years of professional accounting experience including experience within a corporate accounting function at a publicly traded company. Accrual and bank transaction knowledge/experience would be an asset.
- Experience and knowledge in IFRS
- Experience with multiple currencies and international operations strongly preferred in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of D365 would be an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; Word and Excel

Salary Range:
$62000.00 - $87000.00 / yearAbout the salary range: Were committed to being open and fair about pay. The range provided is intended as a guideline and does not represent a guaranteed offer.
