Location - This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus Edmonton.
This position provides mid-level administrative support to business units within Campus Services. There is a high degree of diversity in the department and therefore in this role. The candidate should welcome new challenges and learning new processes. At times there may be significant interaction with students guests various departments throughout the department as well as external partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Senior Leadership Support: Provide direct administrative assistance to Campus Services senior staff including: calendar management communications and meeting coordination.
- Records Maintenance: Manage filing systems professional documentation standards and the disposal of obsolete records.
- Financial Processing: Execute financial tasks via PeopleSoft including invoice processing and tracking team expenditures.
- Reporting & Data: Compile data to support departmental reporting and assist in the preparation of presentations.
- Special Projects: Support various departmental initiatives and special projects as they arise.
- General Operations: Provide flexible administrative support across a range of functions to ensure smooth office operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma supplemented by formal administrative training.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of related experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Self-Management: Operates with a high degree of independence while managing competing project demands.
