About the role:
Reporting to the Manager Environment the Administrative Assistant Environment will coordinate and support activities within the Environment department to meet compliance commitments and efficient operations.
To be successful we are looking for a self-starter with strong interpersonal problem solving and organizational skills. This person will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail and can adapt multi-task prioritize tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- General administrative duties including organizing and supporting the day-to-day tasks of the department as well as coordinating meetings training and events
- Manage & lead document management and the departments SharePoint site
- Update and maintain documents policies and procedures
- Support site compliance by tracking and reporting on compliance commitments
- Support budget and strategic planning process for the Environment department
- Support development and implementation of process and business systems improvements
- Collaborate with other departments sites and Business Units to support sustainable mining
- Certificate or diploma in administration or business-related discipline or a combination of relevant schooling and experience
- Knowledge in information management and document control
- Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines with minimum supervision
- Experience in office administration and business improvement is an asset
- Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook Word Power Point Excel Teams; experience in SharePoint is an asset
