Accounting Assistant

Our administrative offices are based at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager the Part-Time Accounting Assistant plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Finance team. This position is ideal for a student currently pursuing a degree in accounting who is looking to gain practical experience in a professional environment. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of accounting administrative and clerical tasks while developing valuable skills and knowledge within a dynamic and collaborative workplace.

• Organize file and maintain financial documents and records
• Sort and process incoming invoices receipts and correspondence
• Perform data entry and basic spreadsheet tasks in Microsoft Excel
• Assist with document scanning copying and archiving
• Support the accounting team with general administrative duties as needed
• Help prepare documents for audits or month-end processes

• Currently enrolled in an accounting finance or related degree program
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting filtering simple formulas)
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Reliable punctual and able to work independently
• Prior office or administrative experience is a plus but not required

• Hours: 23 days per week (approximately 1220 hours) with flexibility around class schedules
