5 Ton Delivery Truck Driver

The primary role of the job would be focused around the delivery of products over established routes. Responsibilities include:

• correct loading and unloading of the vehicle
• recording of delivery information
• ensuring overall vehicle safety. 

The Driver will be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner at all times obeying all rules of the road and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures.

• Ability to drive a 5 ton truck
• You have the ability to excel in a physically demanding environment lifting 60 lbs.
• Ability to move heavy pallets with Tile.
• Forklift & pallet jack experience preferred.
• Contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace by following all safety and environmental policies and rules and by taking an active approach to accident prevention and environmental protection.
• Load unload delivery truck in a timely manner to our locations.
• Complete packing slips waybills trip sheets and bills of lading
• Maintain a clean organized delivery truck
• Be able to organize and load a skid for delivery
• Warehouse work building skids for shipping

Store operating hours 

•   Monday - Friday  8:00 am to 5:00 pm 

In almost all cases working hours will fall within our distribution operating hours.  This role is based on a forty (40) hour work week. The role is an hourly job with an average of 60-70 hours per week.
