A well-established industrial mechanical contractor is growing its technical team and looking to add an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Technician. This is not a service position you will be working in a manufacturing setting working for a company that prides themselves on work life balance.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting working independently and supporting complex industrial equipment within manufacturing and processing environments.

6-2:30pm Monday - Friday

$45-$55 (negotiable) based on experience

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot maintain repair and service industrial refrigeration systems

Diagnose mechanical electrical and control-related issues on refrigeration and heating equipment

Service gas-fired equipment including boilers heaters and related systems

Perform preventative maintenance inspections and complete service documentation

Respond to emergency breakdowns and participate in scheduled on-call rotation

Support commissioning activities system upgrades and equipment optimization

Work closely with customers and internal technical teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime

Maintain strong safety standards and follow applicable industry regulations and procedures

Qualifications

Valid 313A Refrigeration License

G2 or G1 Gas Technician License an asset

Strong industrial troubleshooting experience within refrigeration or process environments

Experience with ammonia systems considered an asset

Strong mechanical electrical and controls troubleshooting abilities

Ability to read schematics technical drawings and control diagrams

Valid Ontario drivers license with clean abstract

Comfortable working independently in industrial and mechanical environments
