We offer a competitive salary learning opportunities and a range of Position:Neelands is searching for a 313A Refrigeration Service Apprentice Term 4 5 or Journeyman to join our team servicing the Barrie area. This position is regular to the Senior Manager Service the Service Technician will work closely with the team on repair install troubleshoot and preventative maintenance of refrigeration systems. This role requires the individual to be available during the weekdays from 7:30am 5:30pm for on-call and after-hours service calls from dispatch and/or prescheduled :Response to service calls and scheduled maintenance and repairs for refrigeration and mechanical equipmentPerform diagnostics to detect malfunctions and defects in equipment such as CO2 racks Condensers Evaporator fans Glycol Racks Expansion TanksTroubleshoot to ensure the system is functioning properly following repairsPerform schedule and unscheduled repair and maintenance on refrigeration and mechanical equipmentEffectively communicate and update all information regarding assignments to the teamProvide recommendations and assist estimator with information on quoteBuild and maintain positive relationship with customers or clientsMaintain service vehicle inventory and cleanlinessOther duties as requiredQualifications:313A Journeyman313A Apprentice Term 4 or 5G2 or G1 Gas Technician Licence requiredSupermarket refrigeration experience is strongly preferredOzone Depletion Prevention certificateValid G license with a clean driver abstractEnglish language proficiency (read/write/speak)What you Bring to the Team:A self-starter who is highly effective working independently and within a teamFlexibility along with the ability to operate well under pressureStrong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to perform in a high pressure fast-paced environmentA keen attention to detailA positive hands-on can-do attitudeWhy join NeelandsBenefitsPensionCompetitive SalaryPaid weeklyEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Professional Development and TrainingNeelands Group Limited is committed to providing accessible employment practices that comply with Accessibility standards and regulations.
