Overview
As a Part-Time Manager you are a sales-driven leader and certified
Piercing Specialist who plays a critical role in delivering safe professional piercing services
while driving store performance during key shifts. You lead by example on the sales floor
uphold Claires Clinical Piercing Standards and ensure piercing services are executed
with precision consistency and care.
You reinforce selling behaviors elevate piercing and retail performance and support
operational excellence while fostering a positive accountable team environment. Through
confident coaching and strong execution you help your team deliver exceptional guest
experiences from informed piercing consultations to trend-driven styling moments.
Piercing Excellence Clinical Standards
Deliver professional ear-piercing services in accordance with Claires Clinical
Piercing Standards and safety protocols.
Follow all sterilization hygiene and infection-prevention procedures with precision
and consistency before during and after every service.
Educate guests and guardians through informed consent eligibility screening and
clear aftercare instructions.
Maintain certification requirements and complete ongoing piercing skill
development training.
Consistently deliver friendly engaging services that keep customers coming back
and build loyalty to the brand.
Lead by example on the sales floor demonstrating strong selling behaviors and
styling expertise.
Address customer concerns with empathy and escalate appropriately when
needed.
Contribute to meeting and/or exceeding all KPI goals and objectives for the store by
providing best-in-class service.
Sales Performance Results
Drive shift-level piercing and retail conversion ensuring strong product attachment
and consistent service execution across the team.
Coach associates in real time to improve consultation quality attachment
behaviors and overall selling eectiveness.
Support execution of promotions campaigns and sales-driving initiatives.
Use product knowledge and trend awareness to influence purchasing decisions.
Consistently meet or exceed all store sales piercing and conversion goals.
People Team Leadership
Build strong relationships with peers and contribute to a positive inclusive and
high-energy team culture.
Reinforce selling standards service expectations and brand behaviors.
Support the coaching and motivation of Sales Associates through real-time
feedback.
Act as a role model for reliability professionalism and accountability.
Open and close the store and manage cash handling accurately.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure stock areas are organized.
Support shipment processing inventory accuracy and adherence to safety and loss
prevention practices.

Experience & Skills
Previous retail experience with exposure to sales or leadership responsibilities
preferred.
Strong customer service and selling skills.
Ability to provide feedback and guidance to peers in a supportive way.
Comfort operating POS systems and handling cash accurately.
Operational & Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods.
Ability to lift carry and move merchandise (up to 2575 lbs as required).
Ability to bend reach stoop and use ladders or step stools safely.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays.
Additional Requirements
Must become a certified Claires Piercing Specialist and perform piercings in strict
accordance with documented clinical safety and hygiene standards.
Demonstrate controlled standardized piercing technique with precision and
adherence to placement sanitation and safety protocols maintaining professional
composure with pediatric and first-time guests.
Strong verbal communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
