Role: Assistant Technical Engineer
Rates: Up to $67.00 p/h INC.
Location: Pickering ON (100% on-site)
Structure: 2 year contract

We have a great new opportunity to support one of our clients in a contract capacity!

- Support the development and review of I&C designs for nuclear plant systems and modifications

- Prepare technical specifications calculations drawings and engineering documentation

- Review schematics wiring diagrams control logic and instrumentation documents

- Assist with equipment selection procurement installation commissioning and troubleshooting

- Ensure engineering work complies with applicable codes standards and client requirements

- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering project and site teams

- Provide technical support throughout the design and project lifecycle

- Participate in design reviews and help resolve technical issues

Degree in Electrical Controls Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline

- 1 years I&C engineering or design experience preferably within the nuclear industry

- Familiarity with nuclear engineering processes design documentation and plant-modification requirements

- Strong analytical technical writing and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work effectively with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams

- Excellent communication and organizational skills
