Deliverables

• Design build and support scalable Azure-based data lake data warehouse and analytics solutions using Databricks Azure Data Factory Synapse and related Microsoft data technologies.
• Develop and productionize high-performance ELT/ETL pipelines common data models and curated enterprise datasets that serve as trusted sources for reporting analytics business intelligence and downstream applications.
• Implement data governance security lineage metadata management automation CI/CD testing and role-based access controls while ensuring data quality reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with Data Architects Business Intelligence teams Data Scientists Analysts Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams to deliver innovative customer-centric data products within an Agile delivery environment.

Experience Required

• 46 years of Data Engineering experience within Big Data environments with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks and the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem.
• Advanced experience building and optimizing data pipelines using Python SQL Spark/PySpark Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Azure Synapse Analytics Azure SQL and related cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing dimensional data modeling data architecture metadata management data lineage data quality controls and enterprise data governance practices.
• Experience integrating structured and unstructured data sources including REST APIs JSON XML CSV event-driven architectures streaming data platforms and near real-time data solutions.
• Strong understanding of DevOps CI/CD source control automated testing Agile/Scrum methodologies NoSQL and relational databases query optimization partitioning and performance tuning within enterprise-scale data environments.
