Dow is currently seeking exceptional Undergraduate and Graduate level Engineering students for Co-op opportunities in Dow Canada Operations (aka Manufacturing & Engineering) to start a work assignment during the upcoming terms in the next calendar year:

• Fall (Autumn): start date Sept 2026

ABOUT OPERATIONS: The Operationsfunction within Dowis comprised of four unique focus areas that translate business strategies into operations priorities and are Manufacturing Technical Expertise & Support(TES) Environmental Health & Safety Operations(EH&S) and EmergencyServices & Security (ES&S).

ABOUT YOU: Your job will include a broad range of responsibilities in a variety of different work settings such as chemical plant safety and environmental performance process operation optimization modification maintenance and technology implementation. Engineers must use sound technical judgment to enable safe and efficient plant operations. ABOUT THE JOB: Youll work either a 4 8 12 or 16-month (8 12 or 16 month is preferred) consecutive period provided your performance is satisfactory. Additional works terms beyond the initial period is contingent upon your end of term evaluation slot availability and school requirements.

Mechanical Engineer

(Key Roles: ProductionHardware DesignMaintenance/ReliabilityProject Controls orImprovementEngineer)

You will fill one of several technical resource roles where you will provide technical support to plant operating personnel in order to maintain the safe reliable and efficient operations. Key responsibilities may include providing technical expertise in areas such as maintenance & reliability as well as production operations and project engineering. Responsibilities may range from chemical plant operations process improvements predictive maintenance failure analysis and vessel & Piping design to manufacturing process troubleshooting and problem solving preventive maintenance yield and processimprovements waste reduction safety enhancements process control cost optimization project management and implementation equipment design and new technology implementation.

Electrical Engineer

(Key Roles:Production Hardware Design Maintenance/ReliabilityProject Controls orImprovementEngineer)

You will fill one of several technical resource roles where you will provide technical support to plant operating personnel in order to maintain the safe reliable and efficient operations. Key responsibilities may include providing technical expertise in areas such as maintenance & reliability as well aspower plantproduction operations and project engineering. Responsibilities may range frompowerplant operations process improvements predictive maintenance failure analysis andMCC/Transformer/Switchgeardesign toelectricalinstrumentationtroubleshooting and problem solving preventive maintenance processimprovements safety enhancements motorcontrol cost optimization project management and implementation equipment design and new technology implementation.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree inChemical Petroleum Mechanical Electrical Environmental/Civil or Material Science/Metallurgical Engineering.
• A minimum requirement for this Canada based position is the ability to work legally in Canada without Company Sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer students that have completed their 2nd 3rd or 4th year of academic studies.
• Active participation and leadership in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations.
• A preferred GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent on a 100% scale at your current Canadian based university.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Outstanding work ethic and leadership potential
• Previous co-op experience is a plus
• Enrolled in a Engineers Canada accredited program

Contingencies:

• Reliable attendance is an expectation of every Dow employee. Therefore the successful candidate must be able to consistently access their assigned plant site using dependable transportation.
